Meet the Doctor

Beau Murphey, DMD

Dr. Beau Murphey is the founder of Murphey Dental Aesthetics and is a born native of Brandon, MS. After graduating high school, he continued his undergraduate studies at Ole Miss. Dr. Murphey then completed dental school training at The University of Mississippi in Jackson, where he remained president of his class all four years. Since graduating, Dr. Murphey trained extensively in cosmetic and functional dentistry, mainly under the mentorship of one of the most well-known celebrity cosmetic dentists in New York, Dr. Michael Apa.

Dr. Murphey created Murphey Dental Aesthetics because he wanted to provide a unique dental service that focuses on anti-aging and aesthetic dentistry designed to achieve and maintain the youthfulness of your teeth and smile as you age. Traditionally, dentistry is performed on a tooth- by-tooth basis, and treatment is usually only performed when there is a problem. But there is usually no focus on how the teeth function together and how they will appear aesthetically with time. Dr. Murphey has set out to change how we perceive a smile makeover altogether.

He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Mississippi Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the American Academy of Clear Aligners (Invisalign). What he enjoys most about practicing dentistry are the relationships he forms with his patients and providing them with comfortable and gentle dentistry. Outside of the practice, Dr. Murphey enjoys being active in his church and spending time with his wife and daughters.
